Ryousuke Yoshii, portrayed by Masaki Suda, works at a factory while running an online business focused on arbitrage. His business involves purchasing items at a low price and reselling them at a higher value. The range of goods he deals in includes medical equipment, handbags, collectible figurines, and other items with potential for speculative trading. As his online venture grows increasingly successful, Yoshii decides to quit his regular job and move with his girlfriend to a rented house by a lakeside in the countryside.

With the assistance of a local youth named Sano, Yoshii's business flourishes further. However, unsettling incidents begin to occur in the area. The malice and hostility Yoshii encounters online start manifesting in the real world, escalating into acts of violence and hatred. This chain of events spirals out of control, ultimately leading to Yoshii becoming the target of a sinister "hunting game." The situation forces him to confront the dark side of his success and navigate the perils that arise when virtual antagonism turns into tangible threats.
