Above Coruscant, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and Knight Anakin Skywalker undertake a mission to rescue Supreme Chancellor Palpatine from the clutches of the cyborg separatist commander General Grievous. After infiltrating Grievous's flagship, Obi-Wan and Anakin engage in an intense duel with the Sith Lord Count Dooku. At Palpatine's urging, Anakin executes Dooku by decapitation. Grievous escapes shortly before the ship sustains critical damage, and Obi-Wan and Anakin manage to crash-land it safely on Coruscant. Reunited with his wife, Padmé Amidala, Anakin learns she is pregnant. However, not long after, he begins to experience troubling dreams of Padmé dying during childbirth.
