Kara Zor-El, the cousin of Kal-El and niece of Jor-El, resides in Argo City—a secluded community that escaped Krypton's destruction by being transported into a hidden realm known as the Innerspace. Zaltar, a wizard and resident of Argo, grants Kara the opportunity to examine the Omegahedron, a powerful device that sustains the city's energy and life. Unbeknownst to Argo's governing authorities, Zaltar had secretly borrowed this vital artifact. However, an accident causes the Omegahedron to be launched into space. Determined to retrieve it and safeguard Argo City, Kara boards a ship and journeys to Earth. During her quest, she undergoes a remarkable transformation, taking on the identity of Supergirl.
