Luo Ying Shi, a high school student at Saint Rose Secondary School played by Zhong Xueying, excels in the sciences but believes she has a natural gift for lyric writing, aspiring to become a lyricist. Over the past decade, she has explored numerous paths to pursue her dream. These included entering the CASH Pop Composition Awards, attending summer lyric-writing workshops, emailing composers to promote herself, traveling to Taiwan to pitch original songs to record executives, joining lyric-writing competitions, working as a production assistant at a radio station, and composing advertising jingles for companies. Despite years of relentless effort, she often found herself facing setbacks and gradually came to realize just how challenging it is to break into the world of lyricism.
