In 1987, Father Gabriele Amorth, the Pope's personal exorcist, traveled to an Italian village to investigate a man who appeared to be possessed by a demon. Known for his humor, practicality, and approachable demeanor—often seen riding a motorcycle—Amorth teamed up with the local priest to address the situation. Together, they entered the room where the restrained man was being held. During the exorcism, Amorth employed the Saint Benedict Medal as a sacred object and taunted the demon, challenging it to possess a pig instead. When the demon complied, the pig was promptly dispatched with a shotgun.
