Hong Kong, renowned for its iconic neon-lit streetscapes, has seen a gradual dismantling of these vibrant signs due to societal changes, turning its once-bustling scenes into memories of the past. Mei Heung (portrayed by Sylvia Chang) struggles to accept the death of her husband, Chun-Biu Yeung (played by Simon Yam), often reminiscing about their romantic moments under the glow of neon signs while sorting through his belongings. One day, she stumbles upon a key that leads her to her late husband’s secret workshop. There, she encounters his apprentice, Leo (played by Henick Chou), and learns of Chun-Biu’s unfulfilled wish to recreate a dismantled neon sign.

Determined to honor his legacy, Mei Heung embarks on a journey to complete his dream. Along the way, she uncovers the unique stories behind each neon sign, exploring the streets of Hong Kong and learning the intricate craft of shaping neon tubes by hand. According to local lore, each neon sign houses a "light spirit," and when a wish is made, the sign illuminates, symbolizing the fulfillment of the desire.

However, Mei Heung faces an emotional challenge as her daughter, Choi-Hung Yeung (played by Cecilia Choi), reveals her plans to leave Hong Kong. This decision leaves Mei Heung deeply nostalgic and reflective about the fading traditions and connections that once defined their lives.
